P.A.M. Dedicated Services, Inc. (PDS), based in North Jackson, Ohio, specializes in transporting service-sensitive truckloads between points in the Midwest and Ontario, Canada to Texas/Mexican border points.

PDS was established and became a subsidiary of PTSI in October 1990. The operation, formerly known as Pioneer Transportation Systems, Inc., originally started as a flatbed operation in 1984 in Warren, Ohio. In 1987 the operation was switched to a dry-van, team driver operation, transporting automotive parts to the border. A number of employees from those earlier years are still with us. We moved our office/terminal from Warren, Ohio to our current location in North Jackson, Ohio in 2002.
We currently operate about 280 trucks, with roughly 70% of those operating with team drivers and the balance running solo, regional and local. We control roughly 700 trailers but share and have access to the entire PTSI trailer fleet. Our terminal in North Jackson, Ohio includes a 6 bay maintenance facility. We also have terminals in El Paso, Texas and Laredo, Texas.
What makes us special and unique are our more than 430 drivers and our 50 office, maintenance, and support staff. It is through their efforts that we’re able to consistently provide our customers with quality transportation service and be a profitable, successful business.
