Below are some of the most frequently asked questions by drivers considering joining the
P.A.M. Transport

How often do your drivers get home?
P.A.M. Transport drivers average approximately 2 weeks out. Naturally, a lot of times drivers will be able to get by the house under a load which will not count against their time off.
What is your company’s pet policy?
P.A.M. Transport does NOT allow pets.
Does P.A.M. Transport have a dress code?
No, our companies ask the drivers to maintain a neat and clean appearance. We permit our drivers to wear shorts, have facial hair, and do not have length requirement. No uniform requirements.
Does P.A.M. Transport have a lease purchase program?
No.
Do you hire felons?
P.A.M. Transport, Inc. complies with Title VII by utilizing the Title VII review criteria suggested by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the following items will be taken under review regarding felony convictions; 1) The nature and the gravity of the offense or offenses. 2) The time that has passed since the conviction and/or completion of the sentence. 3) The nature of the job held or sought.
What speed do your trucks go?
Our trucks are set at 65 mph.
Does your company offer layover pay?
Yes, P.A.M. Transport offers various rates for varying situations.
What happens after I apply?
Our goal is to process driver applications within 2 to 3 days. If approved, we will set up a physical/drug appointment at a clinic in or nearby the driver’s hometown. Once the physical/drug is approved, we will schedule orientation.
How does orientation work?
We will either set up a bus ticket to get the driver to our headquarters in Tontitown or drivers may drive their own vehicle. P.A.M. Transport conducts a two day orientation class. After orientation, drivers will be assigned a tractor and will be dispatched on a load.
How much freight do your drivers have to touch?
Our freight primarily consists of automotive parts, air conditioner units, cosmetics and paper, so it will be "no touch" freight. In addition, much of our freight will be drop and hook, which helps lessen a driver’s hours of service.
Does P.A.M. Transport have a passenger program?
Yes, you can take a spouse, girlfriend or friend 18 yrs or older. You may take a child, grandchild, step-child 13yrs or older. There is no insurance fee for a spouse (marriage certificate), but for other passengers it will cost $26.50 per month.
